This original art work is valued at $125.00. South Surrey artist Cora Li-Leger painted this watercolor on paper which measures 13 1/4“wide by 14 ¼” high. The bright red acrylic frame with glass complements the tulip colors.
Cora Li-Leger is visual artist who lives and works in South Surrey, BC.
Having earned a BFA in drawing and painting at the University of Minnesota, Cora attended the Banff Centre School of Fine Arts, where she met her husband Don and in 1975 immigrated to British Columbia, Canada.
In the 1990’s, Cora left the solitude of the studio to pursue graduate studies in art therapy. She had an active art therapy career until she recently retired from the profession and returned to working full-time at her art practice.
Cora’s art has been exhibited in British Columbia, Alberta, Washington, and the UK. Drawing, book-making, and collaborative projects are her current explorations. Cora is also a founding member of the Z.inc Art Collective. www.facebook.com/ZincCollective.
