In August and September 2019, Lesley Garratt participated in an artist residency with artist Willa Downing at Darts Hill Garden Park in Surrey, BC. They painted and sketched in the beautiful natural grounds of the park. It was very satisfying for both to participate in two things they love, gardens and art. In September, for the Shack Show, they installed their work inside and out of the old Darts’ cabin turned tool shed, for a rustic exhibition during the Fall 2019 open house at the garden.
