Egan Davis has a lifelong passion for horticulture. With experience in residential garden maintenance and landscape construction, nursery and greenhouse production and public horticulture, his career has been diverse. As a horticulture instructor, Egan has trained students at Park & Tilford Gardens and taught adult education at Vandusen Botanical Gardens and the University of Saskatchewan. Currently, he is the chief instructor for the Horticulture Training Program at the UBC Botanical Garden. In recent years, Egan has been collaborating with horticulturalists in Europe in the pursuit of developing a progressive horticulture movement that focuses on urban ecology and sustainable practice.
