Join us at our popular May Open House. The Garden is open for extended hours (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to enable visitors to enjoy and photograph the beauty of this special plantsman’s garden at its peak blooming time. Purchase a special plant propagated by volunteers at the Garden. Wander the garden at your leisure or join a guided tour, leaving from the Meet and Greet area at 11:30. Master Gardeners will be on hand, so bring a photo or sample (in a sealed plastic bag) of problem plants in your garden. Kids are encouraged to join in our special plant hunt.
As Darts Hill is part of Surrey’s Environmental Extravaganza, a special focus will be placed on gardening with native plants. From 9:30 to 11:30, a keen group of volunteers will be weeding and removing invasives from the native demonstration garden and loop trail. Visitors are invited to come early to join this group.
Admission is by donation.
